I would like to share my thoughts and discuss how other organisations where the use of Matrix messengers is optional deal with this.\n\nNI2CE is a messenger solution that we deployed for NATO users to provide a safer and more private alternative for the widespread use of Whatsapp and Signal. The use of NI2CE is optional as users need to install it on a personal device for mobile use.\n\nI had hoped that reaching a critical mass of users would increase adoption and lead to a quick growth of users. This has not materialized unfortunately. \n\nIn this talk, I would like to show how we tried to convince users to migrate and would like to get the points of view of other organisations that might
